diesel turned two years old yesterday. i can hardly believe it. he reached two much faster than lula did... or so it seems. since he's my last baby, i'm a bit sad that he has reached toddler-hood. but it's exciting at the same time. sometimes i think, "just another year or so until we're completely done with diapers." or "soon i'll be able to get them to eat normal food without so much trouble."
of course i try to cherish each age, and i do cherish parts of each age, but i must confess i'm all about self-sufficiency!
diesel is a quirky little boy. i think he'll be friendly but a bit of a wallflower as well. we really didn't see or understand lula's personality until after she turned two. so i'm excited to see what diesel's really going to be like once he starts talking and interacting with his peers. he's the sweetest little boy i've ever met, and i pray he maintains that personality trait.
above is a photo of the three of us having dinner at panera while jay was on the other side of the world in singapore. the cashier gave us a free brownie which was made of rich dark chocolate and had icing on top! the kids were in heaven and were absolute messes afterwards! i wish i'd gotten more shots of diesel while i was waiting for lula to join him. he was showing his teeth which were covered with chocolate. gross and hilarious! they're pretty great kids.
