little three year olds. dancing at the rodeo.

a few weeks ago (yes, i'm very behind on updates!), jay and i took lula to her first rodeo. come to think of it, it was my first rodeo too! i've always wanted to go, but they're surprisingly expensive! she was so excited. (we left wild man diesel at home with gramma. he would've been tumbling down the stadium stairs!)

lula seemed to have a really good time and really enjoyed running through the top of the empty stadium and dancing to the loud music. the rodeo only consisted of bull riding and she insisted that we watch every one. as soon as the music started to announce the next rider, she'd say "look! look!"

she's been such a joy lately. she has her moments...believe me! but she's finally at that age where we can talk to her normally and she understands and can respond to everything we're saying. we can take her out to things like the rodeo and just do more with her in general. i'm really liking this age!
