decorating. painting purple.

as i've mentioned before, lula's room has been a major stress. i want it to be perfect and whimsical and fantasical. a dream of a place for a little girl to grow up in. after much thought, debate, and fingernail biting, i decided to honor her wishes of painting the room purple. what i finally decided on was painting the ceiling purple. her room is so bright with three windows facing three different directions, that i wasn't worried about the dark color making her room cave-like. it just made it cozy. so now the ceiling is painted. (pictures above are just of the first coat.) there's oh so much more that needs to be done! i hope she doesn't choose a new favorite color any time soon! i just might sit down and cry!
