a couple weekends ago we attended a lovely outdoor wedding. the entire affair had been planned for outside, which is always risky. the weather that week turned from a pleasant 80 degrees to a chilly 50 degrees in one day! needless to say the wedding party was a little on edge the day of the wedding, but all turned out well.
the ceremony remained outside and the bride stood through the vows barefoot despite the cold. the tree behind the couple was decorated with ribbon streamers and tiny jars filled with tealights. it was so simple but so lovely.
unfortunately the reception had to be moved inside, but it was cozy and vibey and everyone was just happy to be warm! all in all it was a lovely event.
